Win 10 Kindle Sync, how can I get it working?

Windows Central Question

Win 10 Kindle Sync Isssues

Running the Kindle app on Win 10. It seems not to sync properly so when I access Kindle from another device, it won't go to the furthest read location. Anyone have any data on the issue or possibly a fix?
