Verizon Lumia 928 Prototype?

I purchased this phone, and once I was trying to set it up and check for updates, this screen appeared asking me if I was still xxxx(censored)@microsoft.com and to Accept a agreement stating "I accept and proudly take the responsibility of this Prototype." I pressed decline and the screen went away, but now the phone won't check for updates. What now? Thanks for any help offered

Sounds like you got an engineering model that escaped the ranch. A hard reset, set-up and accept would/should get your updates coming.

Thanks. I did that and it worked. Is this phone any different hardware wise than a retail model?

I wouldn't think that the hardware would be much different, but the software, hellz yeah!! Could probably get root access, maybe maybe the boot loader. The guys at XDA-Developers would know more than me. You might have a true gem on your hands.
