My Lumia 822 Windows Phone turned black after it cracked. Will replacing the screen get it working again?

My Lumia 822 Windows Phone turned black after it cracked.

SO what happened is that I raged and started punching the back of the phone (it has a very good case) and I've done it before but this time it was too much and you can see lines at the bottom of the screen but it stays black but the phone still works. Can I replace the screen and it'll work again?

First things first, you need some anger management.
With a new screen your phone probably will work again.
