Will I be able to download the same apps when I upgrade to windows 10?

When i upgrade from windows 8.1 will i have to download all my apps I use again, or will they be installed already (for example One drive)? Also does anyone know if windows photo editor will still be available to download from the windows website?

I suppose if you do an upgrade, and not a fresh installation of the OS upgrade, you won't lose much or any data. That's what I understand from reading on the web.

Haven't done it myself since I directly did the upgrade from the insider preview.
