Why does Edge not work with Windows 10 for the second account holder on this PC?

Windows Central Question

This is a PC with two accounts - self as administrator, and my partner as additional. No problems with Windows 7 Ultimate over the last few years. Having installed Windows 10 on both accounts, Edge works only on administrator (mine) and not on hers. No way therefore of opening links from emails etc. Any advice? Thank you.
