New Windows 10 computer unresponsive following sleep

After upgrading my 1 year old HP to Windows 10 it now becomes unresponsive when I try to wake it up from sleep mode. Sometimes the hard drive is working away but the computer does nothing, just a black frustrating screen. The only way I can get out of it is to force it to shut via the power button. This does not happen all the time. Can anyone help me?

Sounds like you need to first try a software refresh...go to update and recovery from settings. If that doesn't work, you should invoke warranty repairs.
