Why is the Windows Central Forums having lag problems when I type?

Win 10 | Edge | rebooted multiple times | Updates up-to-date | No issues in task manager | No other apps or websites having this issue
Day 2 on the forums - Same issues
Typing this 'original post' I have no issues whatsoever. However when I reply to other posts, the lag is causing serious issues with misspelling and missing full words. I'm a decent 'typer', but I'm not too fast for this to be happening. I do see a yellow popup trying to 'auto save' what I'm typing... The experience is very frusterating. Is the lag a known issue?

There has been some work going on here at the forums the last couple of days. I have noticed a few issues myself. Not currently having issues with replying, but I did much of yesterday and the day before.

Hopefully, it will all settle down as they finish with the business at hand.
