Windows Central Question

I have a Canon injet iP2600 printer. After Windows 10 upgrade the computer no longer recognizes the printer. I have tried turning it on and off, restart, search for printer and nothing. I check websites for Canon and Windows. I checked with techy relatives who also upgraded and they report the same difficulty. Help is requested. I need the printer for work.

When you go to Settings/Devices and click on "Add a printer or Scanner", there's a link right under that for "The printer that I want isn't listed" if it can't find your printer. Click that and at the bottom of the next screen, you'll see the option to "add a local printer or network printer with manual settings".

Also, I did a quick search and found the Canon driver download page where it says that they aren't issuing any Windows 10 drivers, and that the current Windows 7 and 8/8.1 drivers should work fine with some limited functionality possible.
