Will Windows 10 install onto my existing Win7 Primary Partition?

I have a partitioned hard drive with the following: PRIM= Win7 NTFS(paid for) LOGICAL=eCs JFS Free Space LOG5 = Linux ext2 LOG6 = swap.

Will WIN10 install onto my existing Win7 Primary Partition?

Short answer, yes.

Are you taking about a clean install or the upgrade? Remember if you want to use your W7 licence you need to upgrade it, at least the first time.

The upgrade will use that partition, you can choose when a clean install.
