How can I deactivate the word suggestions on my keyboard?

Is there a way to deactivate the suggestions? sometimes i think words of me get corrected even if i typed them in correctly. and i don't talk about words that appear big and bold before they get corrected.

Goto Settings ~ Keyboard ~ Select the language and then tick off from "Correct misspelled words".
