Can I exchange phone under the "Next plan" in At&t?

I am currently on the Next Plan with At&t. In fact, I joined under my friend's line and bought an iPhone 6. Would like to return my phone and take an iPhone 6 plus now. Will I be charged for that? Somewhat like a restocking fee or anything? Please help!

There are several levels of Next and they are based on how many months you expect to pay on the device.

You will need to pay any remaining balance needed to bring your Next to a trade in point.

Since this is on your friend's plan, check with them as any change of device will likely change the monthly bill. You and your friend should go into the ATT store together. They will explain it all to you.
