Why is my battery not charging on my Acer Iconia W4 820?

I have upgraded to Windows 10 and the battery charges to about 8% and then stops. It worked OK under Windows 8.1.

It could just be that the battery is decaying, or that there's a hardware issue with the charger or charging port, or maybe a driver issue.
Conduct a battery report (I can detail how if you don't know)
Try with a different charger to see if there's any change (if you're able to) and try your current charger on another device (if you're able to)
Check your drivers to see if any need updating

I have the same problem in my Acer Iconia W4 820 after upgrading to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1. Certainly I feel that there is some incompatibility with this H/W as it worked well with Windows 8.1.

Microsoft, I am downgrading back to Win 8.1. Please keep the forum updated when you find the fix. BTW, there are few things great in Win 10 but it freezes a lot and still not a stable build. The keyboard opens up on top of the text you are typing, and you cannot see what you are typing!
