how can I place a time stamp on my photos on my PC?

I need to place a time stamp on my photos that are saved on my PC. these photos were sent from a phone to my email.

Right click the photo. Select Properties and the Details tab. That shows whatever exif (metadata) that the device taking the picture captured.

If you need to display it... Open the pic in a program like Paint and add it in.

Use Irfanview. It's free and invaluable for many reasons. You can easily stamp any exif info into the image with it.
