How does One Note for Mobile enable 2 people to share a file ?

Is this done automatically in the cloud , or does the file have to be manually sent to the other device ? Specifically what I am asking is , if I have a shopping list on my phone and my wife actually goes to the store can she remotely access my list without any action from me ?

You need to send her an invite... And then it syncs through the cloud whenever either of you makes a change.

Make it a todo list and as she checks items off in the store you could sync in and see her progress.
