Settings window keeps crashing, Why?

When I click on apps & features in settings, System it opes up and then crashes, please help. Also the when I open the games folder in start all apps games the window crashes, are the two connected?

My laptop was experiencing some weird behavior when I was going through the upgrades...made it almost unusable. Then I did a clean install and it works great now.
I recently read that a "reset" pretty much does the same thing. If you can get into settings, via the Start button or Notifications, it's in update & Security, Recovery.
You might do a bit of research to make sure you don't lose anything critical.
