Windows Central Question
Hi there,
I have reserved and downloaded my copy of Windows 10, but I haven't installed it yet. The reason is that I recently looked up some tips on how to best install Windows 10, and I noticed that several websites say that you should not delete the "Windows Setup temporary files" to clear up space, because these are necessary for the Windows 10 installation. Unfortunately, I deleted these a while ago to clear up some space in my hard drive.
This is more of a preemptive question because I haven't installed Windows 10 yet, but I just want to know: will I run into any problems if I go ahead with the upgrade without my "Windows Setup temporary files"? Is there a way to restore these files?
I am running Windows 8.1 , Version 6.3, Build 9600.
Thanks in advance for your help!
