Facebook app stopped working yesterday

Suddenly my Facebook app no longer opens. It shows the blue Facebook screen, flips to the news feed for a split second, then closes down.

I also can't use fb from the browser because whenever I try to scroll down, the page turns grey and I can't click anything.

Any idea how to fix either?

It must be network related, maybe facebook is banned by your network sys admin ...

That's what I thought initially but then I tried at home and it didn't work there either. Also should that not completely block the browser version of Facebook?

Just tested after disabling internet altogether. Still doesn't work (it should open and give a message "problem getting data" if you access the app without internet connection). Also tried disabling battery saver and no luck :/ Funnily enough it still gives me notification area alerts...

Ooh, discovered you can uninstall it even if it came installed with the phone, and reinstall. That's solved it for now
