Tell me how to get ALL my folders back that I lost during an incomplete WINDOWs 10 upgrade?

My system went down, when I rebooted all of my folders except 1 disappeared to include pictures. When I open the programs thru the WINDOWS icon it tells me that I have no recent activity.

You prob should have copied ur files to external drive before upgrade

Just a note here: telling someone they should have backed up folders before an upgrade, is like a slap, after the fact, not necessary!
I too lost folders, but discovered some of them buried in places 'this PC' has put them. I now have 3 download files with different folders in each, and don't have any idea how they got there. Keep looking, you may find your folders, if I hadn't, I would have lost 45,000 photos!! Good luck!
