my HTC windows phone 8X is continuously restarting and no red light while charging. Why?

Last week, I updated my software. After that phone started misbehaving. When I tried to reset my phone, i didn't get "!" mark. Instead it is continuously rebooting, getting sad smiley at the end and battery is drained. When I connected to the charger, it is not charging also.

Did you upgrade to Win10 Insider preview?
If so there are many posts on here of users phones stuck in a boot loop after doing so.

The latest update to Windows phone recovery tool among name and other changes also brings support for recovering 8X as well...
