I am a surface user. When in desktop mode, I don't want tiles on my start menu so I have unpinned them all and dragged the start menu all the way in to be one simple column. When in tablet mode however, I would like tiles on my start menu.
Currently when making changes to the desktop start menu, this seems to automatically make the same changes to the tablet view, and now it is completely blank. Is there any way I can have no tiles in desktop mode but tiles as normal on my start menu in tablet mode?
I feel this is also important for other people who may want to have more business-like apps pinned in desktop start, but games and social media in tablet start. Hope I've explained it ok.
