Why is Windows 10 animation performance so poor on dell M3800
Any animation that involves a full screen effect - start screen in full screen mode or task view, is really slow. Disappointingly so. This only really happens when I have an external monitor plugged into my Dell M3800, so I freely admit that I'm running 1 screen at 4k and another at 1440p, but I'd like to think a workstation class laptop (even one a year or two old) could manage to run simple OS animations fluidly. Especially since the crappy 3 year old desktop I have with no dedicated graphics card runs animations in Gnome 3 beautifully.
Win 10 animations are better when the external monitor is unplugged, but still no where near as smooth as win 8.1 or Linux.
