Why aren't custom ringtones shown in preview 10572?

why custom ringtone is not shown in preview 10572

in sounds under setting,no custom or downloaded ringtone is showing in the current preview build.all is showing the preset ringtones.need help.

I, like many others have custom ringtones. I had amazing ringtones. Download sound, set as ringtone etc, and all show up in notifications settings. My messaging one required a reboot before it worked, don't know why, but it cured it.

What app did u use for the ringtones? Or where did u download them from?

Thanks just tried it out I used melodia for notification sounds.
I have a question with ringtones they save to the ringtones folder on the device. Is there a way to make a ringtones folder on the sd card and have it read the ringtones from there?


Also where do the notifications save to? I've looked every where on the file explorer and even tried searching the file names but couldnt find anything where do the notifications sounds save to?

Like build 10536, custom ringtones via apps directly to phones wasn't possible, other than going the pc route. Build 10549 all my ringtones came back and I didn't have to download them again.

It works on 10572 apps are able to save ringtones again

I only used zedge just to try ringtones to see if it worked and melodia to get the official Facebook and fb messenger notification sounds. I have to gibe amazing ringtones a try

10572 is by far the best build released. Most stable and best battery life by a mile. Feels close to rtm

Just got the build yesterday, some different changes but battery hella heats up on my Icon.
