In the Photo application photos are not grouped according to the time and location

Even I have ticked the setting "Group the photos according to the time,and location" in camera+photos application setting it isn't working. What I have to do to fix this?

I have connected my phone in to a

Hmmm... Have you looked at the exif info of some of the pictures to make sure it is intact?
