W10 Mobile Update - Current Version 10.01 10512

I am current running W10 Mobile OS Version 10.0 10512.1000 which I believe is a few version behind current available. Is there a way to get the most current version without reverting back to 8.1 then upgrade?

Currently, you have to go back to go forward. However, this next build has that fixed, so just wait a couple days and you'll be caught up!

The latest build that was released a few hours ago has fixed this. You can not upgrade from your current build without going back to 8.1

OK, is there a thread that outlines the process of going backward and then upgrading?

Also, I assume that if you go back you will lose all the current info in the device?

Yes, build 10581 just came out today and it is suppose to fix the upgrade process. Try go into setting and check for updates, see how it goes...

Ray, thanks for the response. I just went into the setting and checked for update and no go. I guess I'll wait a few days and see if it becomes available.
