Installing Windows 10 Mobile build 10.0.10581.0. What does it add and fix

Hi All,

I'm installing Windows 10 Mobile build 10.0.10581.0. Is there a list of what this build does and what it fixes?

In general it is faster than all previous mobile builds. The UI is smoother. I haven't seen it say "Resuming" on the home screen at all. Most transitions are fast. I'm running it on an old phone (1020) and it is clear they have optimized performance for even older, slower phone hardware.

I don't see any UI changes from the last build.

Oh and perhaps most importantly, you can now upgrade from past Insider builds instead of having to revert to W8.1 first.

As far as i tested it, it feels a lot faster and less buggy, specially in the photos App other things i've found are:

• One major fix! now can set up custom ringtones also using ringtone maker and Zedge to!..
• Other things like, dark number on tiles for messages and notifications
• Battery seems to last longer
• It shows your calendar events or reminders before shut down.. (pretty cool)
• Lock screen unlocks with a smooth fade.
