Windows Insider issues

I have been an insider since the beginning and now have purchased a new laptop. When I got the laptop it has Windows 8.1 but upgraded to Windows 10 Home build 10120. I then went into advanced settings and set it for fast ring. It doesn't seem to want to update to insider builds.

What have I left out?

You have not left out anything. Insider preview builds take time to show up. On my intel compute stick the build showed up after almost 48 hours. It didn't matter how times I hit the check for updates button.
