My upgrade to Win10 lost wireless connections wlan atheros 10.0.0216w8x86x64, how can I get it back?

up graded to win10 lost wireless conections wlan atheros 10.0.0216w8x86x64

the ones that i down loaded wont install due to fact i now have w1n 10 and its win 8

This seems to be a problem for a lot of people on Windows 10, I am assuming that the drivers are installed via an exe or msi file. Is that correct?
