I use lumia 730 and Sometimes I can operate the screen without touching it..by waving the finger few cm. Away is it a problem. Or advantage of the phone???

a few CENTIMETERS? that's weird. I think you meant millimeters.
but the display is supposed to super sensitive so as to be used with gloves if necessary.
if you go into touch settings, setting sensitivity to normal, instead of high may toggle that.
