Windows Central Question

Hi, I have a Nextpad device that has Windows 10 installed on it. Because it is a mobile device, the storage space is limited (total about 28G, and free space about 16G, after the most recent system update, even without me installing any user application). Windows Update now shows that it is ready to install Windows 10 version 1511 update, but is that amount of space enough? I see somewhere that the "minimum required storage" is 8G, which I have, but some other people say that the installation will take up to 20G space (which can be reclaimed later through disk cleanup tool), and I worry that might cause the device to fail because of insufficient storage space.

Could somebody give me some suggestions? Thanks.
