Windows Central Question
Hi, a few weeks ago, I downloaded the latest driver for my new printer, an Epson Stylus Pro 7880, from the Epson website. It worked but I had a lot of strange printing problems and was advised by Epson to uninstall the driver, reboot the computer, and then reinstall it. The problem is that the driver, called epson375399eu.exe, downloads but will not open on this computer anymore. When I try to open it, nothing happens; the little circle goes round and round and I can't even shut the folder. I contacted Epson and for a whole afternoon we tried to solve the problem, making sure there was no residue from the old Epson files on my computer and rebooting on reinstalling over and over again. Nothing worked. We tried installing the driver and several other computers with the same operating systems and there it worked just fine, so the problem is my computer. Epson told me to contact Windows for help. What can I do? I need to install this printer again quickly as I use it for work.
