Sending HK version Lumia 930 for repair

I live in Japan and purchased a HK version Lumia 930 via a reseller on amazon.jp, but I'm currently suffering from the microphone hardware issue that's seeming to pop up on a large number of 930's out there.

Nokia/Microsoft doesn't have any service points in Japan, but does anyone know if the HK service point will allow me to send my phone to them for repair, and honor my warranty?

You don't say how long ago this was purchased.

Try with the seller first and see what remedies they offer if the purchase was recent.

Your product warranty from the OEM may not be valid out of region. Contact them directly and start a dialog.
