Device Hub gone on 925 with 8.1 Gadgets not working

Got an update alert this AM. Told me to reboot to finish. Devices Hub gone, Gadgets app now there. Asks to turn location services on and gets stuck at that screen. Anyone else seeing this? I thought that devices hub was being replaced in only Win 10 mobile ... never saw mention of this happening on WP 8.1

Gadgets works fine on my 635 running 8.1.

It works on my L920 running W10, but it doesn't work on my L830 8.1(Update 2). I deleted it on my L830, and now I don't see it on the MS store... #WTH

Gadgets is not working on my 1520.3 running 10586.29. Always says to restart, then nothing. We got bugs!!!

They're trying to push us away from w8.1 and move to w10. I don't like it. I see a w7.8 trend to w8.1 migration going on here...

I have a Lumia 521 running Cyan. After installing the Gadgets update it tells me "Restart required." No matter how many times I restart it still says "Restart required" when I try to run the Gadgets app. I tried completely uninstalling/reinstalling the app, but still have same problem. :eck:

Seems odd that it would work fine on my Lumia 635 running Cyan without any problems, yet it fails on much better specced phones. Makes me suspect some particular configuration causing the issue.

I got it to work partially. Still doesn't open up with the app, but when I tapped the NFC on my dt-910 qi stand and was able to launch the gadget app on that particular device and i was able to pin the shortcut on my start screen.

Same here on my 925 on wp8.1 I can launch the gadget app partial if I tap the NFC on my DT-910 and I can also artially open it with my Treasure tag.
