lumia 950xl errors

Can someone help? I've had the 950xl for a week (I moved from the Lumia 1320) and have the seen the battery drain at nearly 1% per minute, notifications stating I'm running out of memory (despite not using even 20% of my internal 32gb or my 64gb micro SD), it gets warm while charging, and it refuses to back up over WiFi or update it's phone software/ firmware despite telling me there is an update available. I appreciate any help x

My 950XL doing the same. What might be the cause?
