How to get Windows 8 back on my Surface Pro 3

I purchased a Surface Pro 3 from Ebay and it has Windows 10 on it. I want to revert it back to Windows 8. Problem is the previous owner had Windows 10 on it for longer than a month. I am not a fan of Windows 10. Can someone please help me get Windows 8 back on the Surface?

Go here http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media and create a bootable USB, the install should pick up the activation key from the bios and reinstall Windows 8. Just in case though i would still advise making a backup of your current system so you have something to go back to in case of problems.
