Why can't I set my default browser to Google Chrome?

cant set my default browser to google chrome

cant change google chrome to default browser says there are no other apps installed

Device? OS and version? Is Chrome indeed installed? Does it open? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling?

If it opens does it not ask for you to choose it as default?
