I need Windows 10's default to be metric. How do I change to metric?

The UK has been using metric measurements for 30+ years. I teach in metric but cannot have metric as a default with Windows 10. This seems so antideluvian!

Go to Control Panel > Clock, Language, and Region > Change date, time, or number formats. In Region window, under Formats tab click additional settings and change Measurement system from US to Metric. It should do the trick.
