How to map OneDrive PHOTOS as a Drive Letter in Windows 10

There is a thread discussing mapping OneDrive to a drive letter in Windows 10 on this site and other sites. But does anybody know if it is possible to map a drive letter to the OneDrive PHOTOS "folder" using any variation of this method?

Honestly, if you read the thread you have referenced, it appears that the mapping is no longer functional due to changes server side at OneDrive.
