I just turned on my Surface Pro and it won't let me put a pin in, its like my screen is locked. How can I get in?

I just turned on my surface pro and it won't let me put a pin in, its like my screen is locked

My main screen comes up and the mouse moves around but I can't get the cursor to come up when I go in the pin box

Try holding down the power button for about 10 seconds, or until the Surface turns itself off. Then turn it on again. That'll likely fix your problem. If that doesn't work, try cleaning your display to make sure that it is free of interference. If that still doesn't work, you may need to perform a factory reset or consult with Microsoft Support to get the device looked at or fixed.
