Can i use a stylus with any windows tablet ?

Hi I want to ask if i have a windows tablet and i bought a stylus can itn work with him for handwritting \ drawing .....etc

Any device with a touch screen can use a direct stylus, but the best performance and quality comes from an active stylus like the one the Surface Pro 4 has. This requires extra software and hardware, so you have to buy a tablet that comes with an active stylus if you want that.
