Why my Lumia 550 showes the time , all the time? Even when screen locked.

I got a Lumia 550 the other day and I noticed that the screensaver time and date is always on. When I lock the screen , it appears and stays there , always on , using battery and ******* me off.
Does anyone knows how to make it go away?
I've tried to find settings for that but failed so far.

Do you mean glance screen?

Well , not sure what glance screen is. But : When I press the lock button , the one on the side , the display doesn't go black , off. Instead , is showing the time and date. Non-stop.

The phone (display itself) has a feature that shows you relevant info. Doesn't drain your battery. The phone is locked. It doesn't get unlocked until you press the button

Sorry, forgot it was a win10 as I've recently woken up. Should be under screen related settings or use Cortana to search for glance.
