How do I rename my Windows Phone?

At the end of 2015 I bought a Lumia 640. In fact we bought a few of them (Best Buy had a great deal going). The odd thing is they're all called simply "Windows Phone" on our router. So I'd like to be able to rename it.

I remember doing that with my older Windows Phones by using the Phone App. But there is no Phone App. Instead there's an app called Phone Companion. Its sort of nice, but ultimately I think it gives me detailed information about my phone, but no way to rename it.

So how do I rename my Windows Phone?

The phone name can be changed in Settings where About is located. You can also change the name using a PC bu connecting the phone with USB and running the desktop Windows Phone app or newer Windows Phone app on the PC.
