Why does my Nokia Lumia 928 say "oops I can't add any more alarms"

When I use Cortana on my Nokia Lumia 928 to set an alarm, it tells me "OOps I can't add any more alarms." It just started in 2016.

How many alarms have you set? Check in the Alarms app as it doesn't delete them after they have occurred and it may have hit the maximum number allowed.
