Windows store stuck on pending in Windows 10 mobile technical preview. How to fix?

[Windows Central Question]

After downloading Windows 10 mobile in Lumia 1520 - build 10586.71, windows store was no longer accessible. Status is stuck on pending. All apps could not be updated, nor could be downloaded from the mobile website. I don't want to downgrade to Windows 8.1 mobile just to get this fixed.

I had this problem too. Juat soft reset the phone... After that, downloading should start...

What do you mean by Soft Reset? Factory Reset? if I do all my data will be lost and will roll back to old version.

Press and hold Vol down and power. Don't worry about the app that will pop up, just keep held down until device vibrates. Let go and viola, soft reset. Phone will reboot.

soft resetting the phone doesn't work. Store still stuck on pending status

Hello,I just purchase my phone also and I'm having the same problem.I went to an AT&T service unit and he said 'hard reset' and try again. He also told me to backup my stuff. I just wrote it off to the fact he was not invested in the Window Phone, but, that's the only advise I've gotten anywhere in the last week that I haven't tried.
