Does slow charging damage a battery?

Hi good day guys I have a Lumia 630 and I notice that recently my battery are charging slow so my question is, will it damage my battery if it is charging slow or will it shorten it's life? I know fast charging stresses and degrade battery but what about slow charging?

Check that your USB lead is good, and that your USB port connector is not dirty or damaged.

There's two sides to your question.

1. Does charging a device with an inherently slow charger dangerous? No.

2. My phone is charging slowly, is that bad?

One of those is a change by the user, the latter is a symptom of something.
