Text notifications not waking the phone

Where is the proximity sensor on the 950?

The reason I ask is that right now, when people text me, my phone is not waking up and showing the notification.

From left to right on the front I have what looks like an LED (which never lights up), the camera, the speaker, and another tiny dot. Which one is proximity sensory? I have read that if it is blocked it the phone won't wake up when texts arrive

Re: Text notifications not waking the phone

Test first if the proximity sensor is indeed blocked: try calling yourself (or some invalid number) so you won't be charged in your phone bill. Once your phone has started to "call", your screen should automatically turn off even if you don't place your phone near your ear (or place something near the earpiece) IF the proximity sensor is blocked. If your screen doesn't turn off, then it could be an OS bug - report it in the Windows Feedback app.
