Windows Central Question
Each morning, I shut the Surface Book down completely. Not sleep. Not Hibernate.
I put the computer into my bag this morning after a complete shut down. Two hours later, I pulled the computer out of my bag. The unit was warm to the touch and the battery was down to 72%. If I open the lid, the screen comes to life. How can this happen after a total shut down?
This has been going on for weeks. Shut down at 100% and a few hours later the unit is down 25% or more.
No threads that I've read have come up with a definitive solution.
If I shut the unit down completely, it should stay completely off and battery drain should be minimal.
All updates have been installed and verified.
