Turning a picture to B&W with WP photo app?

I want to try converting a picture I took to black and white. I cannot seem to do this. Please advise.

You'll need a third party app do this.
Try "Creative Studio" or "Fotor" both available for free in the store.

Desktop software, yes? Windows 10 PC?

Usually this "effect" is applied as a filter.

However, for a quick basic application: open the photo in your viewer (Msft Photos App), select edit and under color set the saturation to -100.

Viola. Instant B&W. (IMHO, filters are nicer and you may want to invest in a quality photo edit app.)

I totally for got about "Black"
It was reviewed here at WC in the past.
