Why does a black line appear on the right of photos when sharing?

A thick black line appears when I share photos (only used Viber so far). It disappears when the photo is tapped to enlarge it but it's annoying1 Also photos appear really small to the recipient.How can I fix this? You can tell I'm new to the Lumia

Does the recipient see the black line? can we see an example?
