Since Last night a bunch of my apps aren't working. What are my options?

Since Last night a bunch of my apps aren't working.

I click on any of the outlook apps - Calendar/email and just get bounced back to the start screen. I can't open them. Also cannot open phone, camera, all settings. I tried soft reset but doesn't resolve. Is my only option to do a hard reset?

Sorry - forgot to mention this is an unlocked Lumia 950XL.
