Why can't I log in to my hotmail account?

[Windows Central Question]

Every time I try to log in I get this message:

Something went wrong!
Something went wrong and we couldn't complete your request

There is a REFRESH button but when I click on it it just comes up the same.

I can't even get to a place where I can enter a different hotmail account to try to log in that way.

This is driving me insane.
